Montages are a great way to bring multiple employee stories, responses or moments together into a single piece of content - whether you’re creating a culture video, event recap, employee compilation or campaign highlight.
Here’s how to create one in VideoMy.
Step 1: Open Your Campaign
Start by opening the Campaign containing the videos you’d like to include in your montage.
From here, you’ll be able to view all the videos that have been submitted to the campaign.
Step 2: Select Your Videos
Click the Select button to enable multi-select.
Choose each of the videos you’d like to include in your montage or compilation.
Tip: Don’t worry too much about selecting them in the perfect order - you’ll be able to rearrange your clips once you’re inside the editor.
Step 3: Open the Advanced Editor
Once you’ve selected your videos, click Edit X Clips in the bottom-right corner.
This will automatically bring your selected videos into VideoMy’s Advanced Editor, ready for you to start building your montage.
Step 4: Arrange and Edit Your Clips
Inside the Advanced Editor, you can rearrange your clips into the order you want them to appear.
You can also edit each clip as needed to create a smooth, polished final video.
This gives you the flexibility to bring together the best moments from multiple videos into one cohesive story.
Step 5: Add More Videos
Want to include additional footage?
Use the Video Library in the right-hand panel to browse and add more clips to your montage.
This means you’re not limited to the videos you originally selected from your campaign - you can bring in other existing content from your VideoMy library as well.
Step 6: Add Music
To add music to your montage, use the Upload function within the editor to upload your chosen audio track.
Music can help bring your compilation together and create the right feel for your finished video.
Step 7: Export Your Montage
Once you’re happy with the order, edits and overall flow of your video, click Export.
VideoMy will finalise your montage or compilation, ready for you to share with your audience.
