How to Request Videos using "Quick Request"

A Quick Request is the fastest way to ask a single person to record a video. Follow the steps below to create and send your request.

Step 1 - Select Your Recipient

Choose the person you'd like to send the video request to.

You can:

  • Search for an existing team member.
  • Invite a new team member by entering their name, email address and job title.

New team members are automatically added with Film Only access, allowing them to start recording straight away.

Step 2 - Add Your Questions or Script

Next, choose what you'd like your recipient to respond to.

You can:

  • Select an existing script or question.
  • Create a new script or question.
  • Browse and manage your existing content library.

Before continuing, make sure you've assigned at least one script or question to your request.

Step 3 - Review and Send

Before sending your request, review your settings and make any final changes.

You can:

  • Edit the welcome message.
  • Send the request immediately or schedule it for a later date and time.
  • Set a submission deadline.
  • Configure automatic reminder emails.
  • Enable Join Link, allowing additional people to contribute by simply answering a question and recording their response.
  • Enable Auto Brand so the finished video is automatically branded.
  • Attach supporting files, videos or links if additional context is needed.

When you're ready, choose to:

  • Launch Campaign to deliver the request immediately.
  • Preview the invitation email your recipient will receive
  • Save as Draft to finish setting it up later.

Once your request has been sent, simply give your campaign a name. From there, you can view your request or copy the Join Link to share it more broadly.
