How to Optimise Your Video for Search (SEO)

Tips to help your target audience find your video online

1. Optimise Your Video Title

  • Use a clear, accurate, and keyword-rich title.

  • Experiment with terms such as job title, seniority, location, or salary to increase discoverability.

  • Keep it concise but descriptive (aim for under 60 characters if publishing to YouTube or social channels).

2. Optimise Your Video Description

  • Write a full description that highlights your employer value proposition and details such as responsibilities, compensation, and growth opportunities.

  • Include keywords naturally—avoid keyword stuffing.

  • Add relevant hashtags related to the role, your employer brand, or your industry.

  • This can be done in-app (while publishing or afterwards) or via the web dashboard when your video is in draft or published.

3. Add a Call-to-Action (CTA) Link

  • While your video is processing, you’ll be prompted to add a link/URL—this acts as your CTA.

  • Link to the page you want viewers to visit after watching (e.g. a job ad, careers page, or company site).

  • You can add or edit this in-app or in the web dashboard once the video is in draft or published
