Web Editor gives you the flexibility to refine and enhance your videos directly within VideoMy. Add captions, trim unwanted sections, combine multiple videos, add music, and more - all while maintaining your brand consistency. ### **Accessing Web Editor** #### **Step 1: Open Your Video** **If you are the user that requested the content you will edit** 1. Navigate to **Inbox**. 2. Select the video you'd like to edit. 3. Click **Edit Video**. **If another team member created the campaign** 1. Navigate to **Campaigns**. 2. Select the campaign which contains the video you'd like to edit. 3. Click **Edit Video** if the video has not yet had any edits. (screenshot) 4. Otherwise, you will need to expand the video using the arrow to the left to reveal the raw footage and then click the (...) to choose **Edit Again** (screenshot) #### **Step 2: Select Your Branding** 1. Choose the brand you'd like to apply to the video. 2. Click **Set Branding**. Your video will begin processing and may take a few minutes to load into the editor. --- ### **Understanding the Timeline** Once loaded, your video will appear in the timeline. #### **Branded Intro & Outro** Your video will automatically include your branded intro and outro. **Note:** These sections are locked in place and cannot be removed or edited. #### **Editing Your Video** Select any video clip within the timeline to access editing options: - βœ‚οΈ Split - πŸ“‹ Duplicate - πŸ—‘οΈ Delete To make edits: 1. Move the timeline marker (playhead) to the desired position. 2. Select the editing action you'd like to perform. #### **Undo & Redo Changes** Made a mistake? Use the: - ↩️ Undo button - β†ͺ️ Redo button to quickly reverse or restore changes. #### **Zoom Controls** For greater editing precision, use: - βž• Zoom In - βž– Zoom Out to adjust your timeline view. --- ### **Adding Additional Videos** On the right-hand side of the editor, you'll find your media library. This includes videos that have been: - Recorded by you - Submitted by contributors - Added through campaigns - Stored in projects #### **Finding Videos** Use the tabs to browse content: - All - Campaigns - Inbox - Projects #### **Adding Videos to Your Timeline** Simply drag and drop a video from the media library into your timeline to: - Add it as a new clip - Use it as B-roll footage --- ### **Adding Music to Your Videos** ![Adding Music to Vids](https://support.videomyjob.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Adding%20Music%20to%20Vids.gif?width=670&height=377&name=Adding%20Music%20to%20Vids.gif) To add music to your videos, use the **Upload** function within the editor to upload your chosen audio track. Once it's been uploaded, drag and drop it into your frame.Β  Music can help toΒ create the right feel for your finished video --- ### **Uploading Additional Assets** Need extra content? Click the **Upload** button to add: - 🎡 Music - πŸ–ΌοΈ Images - πŸŽ₯ B-roll footage - Other supporting assets **Note: Images and videos can be resized.**Β  Uploaded files will become available within your media library for use in your project. --- ### **Adding Captions** To add captions: 1. Select **Text** from the right-hand menu. 2. Add your caption text. Once added, captions can be: - Moved anywhere within the video frame - Resized for better visibility - Positioned to suit your content --- ### **Managing Your Branding** Select **Brand** from the right-hand menu to control branding elements. #### **Logo Options** You can: - Display your logo - Hide your logo If displayed, the logo can be repositioned within the video frame to achieve the best placement. --- ### **Ready to Publish** Once you've finished editing: βœ… Review your video βœ… Check captions and branding placement βœ… Select **Export**Β  You will then be able to add your Cover Image, Title and Description before publishing. --- ### **Collaborating on Projects** Web Editor makes it easy to collaborate with your team on shared video projects. ##### **Accessing Projects** 1. Navigate to the **Projects** menu. 2. Here you'll find all the projects you and your team are working on. ##### **Editing a Project** The actions available depend on the project's status: ##### **Draft Projects** If a project is still marked as **Draft**, you can open it and continue editing straight away. ##### **Finished Projects** If a project has been marked as **Finished**, simply click **Make a Copy** to create a new editable version before making any changes.
