Corporate governance is ensuring that your users have the correct access to the VideoMyJob platform, this includes; publishing videos, editing the team settings, adding team members etc.

VideoMyJob has two permission levels: 

  1. Admin
  2. Standard

You will work with your Implementation Manager to create a workflow that is appropriate for your account, permissions can be updated on your VideoMyJob dashboard at any time.

Admin permissions include:

  • Edit company settings
  • Add, edit and remove team members
  • Create, edit and share videos
  • Publish any video as public or unlisted
  • Publish any video to the connected company Facebook page
  • Publish any video to connected company Facebook page creating a Facebook post
  • Boost any video (paid social advertising campaigns)

Standard permissions include

  • Create, edit and share videos
  • Publish any video as public or unlisted*

These options can assist you in ensuring all videos are governed and approved via the compliance team before videos are shared publicly.

How can I make sure nothing on my YouTube goes public accidentally?

Ensuring you are selecting the correct permission levels across your team and educating these team members about your approval and publishing process.

What does it mean when I get an error that won't allow me to publish?

This usually means you do not have the right permission level to publish. Please contact one of your company's VideoMyJob admins to publish for you or upgrade your permission level.
